The Remake's locks are the stacked-plate puzzles: you slide each plate left or right until every stick lines up on the same hole. This tool works out the exact sequence of moves to solve any of them.
Combinations don't change between playthroughs or when you reload a save — every lock has one fixed solution. So once a lock is solved, that solution stays valid for everyone.
You describe your lock: how many plates, which hole each stick starts in, and how the plates pull each other when you slide one. The solver treats every move as a step in a small system of equations, computes the exact set of moves needed, and orders them so no plate is ever pushed past the ends — giving you a sequence to follow move by move.
Chain reactions are direct only (a nudged plate doesn't set off its own chain), every lock has 7 holes, and the goal is hole 4. Directions always refer to the metal plate you slide — not the pin, which appears to move the opposite way.
